Meet your
catalyst

Welcome! I’m Tara Giambrone, Founder and Principal Consultant of Catalyst Consulting.

I’ve always been an optimizer (seriously, ask me about my second-grade pipe dreams sometime). Long before I had language for it, I was the person looking at what was and instinctively seeing what it could become. That hasn’t changed. I’ve never stepped into a room and not seen a way to make it better.

My journey to leadership and organizational development started in science. With a PhD in Immunology and a Master of Public Health, I was trained to navigate complexity, identify root causes, and measure what actually drives outcomes. Today, I bring that same rigor into organizational development, helping leaders and teams move beyond surface-level fixes to build systems, cultures, and ways of working that perform.
I'm an optimizer at heart and a scientist by training.
My approach works because we do real time integration into existing workflows. I combine systems thinking, behavioral science, and real-world operational insight to translate vision into success. I’m known for balancing analytical precision with intuition and empathy because sustainable change requires consideration of all of its components. That means getting clear on what matters, removing what’s in the way, and building what’s missing – usually aligned behaviors and structures – to create the conditions for teams to operate at their highest capacity without burning out.

Over the past several years, I’ve partnered with leaders across complex organizations to design effective support structures, streamline operations, and build cultures that actually promote performance. And because I believe our imagination creates our reality, I often challenge my clients to expand what they believe is possible and dream bigger, especially when it comes to work. The outcome isn’t just better results - it’s organizations that no longer rely on constant oversight to function.

The real reward of this work for me is seeing people create workplaces that work for them. Ones that are supportive, satisfying, and easeful. Ultimately, my goal is to empower leaders and teams with the skills to build environments that are clear, sustainable, and effective so the organization continues to evolve effectively long after I’m gone.
Why do we use images of mosaics?
Each tile in a mosaic is different—varying in color, size, and shape—but together, they form a cohesive image. This represents the people and parts of an organization: different roles, backgrounds, perspectives, and processes that, when aligned, create a unified culture and shared vision.
What I do
I’ve been called many things over the years - a changemaker, a disruptor, a transformation agent - because meaningful change tends to follow when I’m involved. And it’s true: things do change in my presence. Operations become smoother. Cultures grow stronger. People thrive.

But I’m not the source of that change - you are. My role is to empower you to create the transformation you want.

I don’t just help facilitate change. I help rewire the way your organization dreams up, implements, and manages change. The changes we create together are sustainable, regenerative. Because it starts at the root: with people. We embed strategy at the human level, where culture is shaped, decisions are made, and impact is felt.

My approach to helping organizations optimize their performance is people-centric because people are an inextricable part of any system. By aligning strategy with values, developing leadership at every level, and cultivating high-performance cultures, we help organizations reach their full potential. We build accountability into the process and pair learning with real-time integration and implementation to create a ssustainable culture of excellence.

This work is transformational, not just for the organization, but for every individual involved. Working with Catalyst is more than a service—it’s a partnership in possibility. The changes you seek in yourself, your team, your leadership, and your organization? They begin here.
Could we be the right fit?
Months ago, I decided to forgo a traditional cover letter to best capture what I bring to the table. It led me to creating the list below. If even one thing on the list resonates with you, it would be worthwhile for us to chat. If multiple things interest you, be prepared for your life to change.
