A clear vision is the compass that guides a company’s decisions, culture, and long-term growth, and it only becomes powerful when paired with an accurate understanding of how people within the organization actually behave. Vision without behavioral alignment remains aspirational, while behavior without vision risks fragmentation and inefficiency. By consistently assessing workplace behaviors—how teams communicate, collaborate, and make decisions—leaders can identify whether daily actions reinforce or undermine the company’s stated goals.

Alignment ensures that values are not just words on a wall but lived practices that shape culture, build trust, and drive performance. In short, vision sets the destination, and behavioral insight ensures the organization is truly on the path to get there. We love these prompts for leadership retreats, team meetings, or strategic planning sessions to foster deep reflection and shared understanding.

Vision & Purpose

  • What is the core purpose driving our organization beyond financial goals?

  • How clearly do we communicate our vision to the entire organization?

  • In what ways are we living our vision daily as leaders?

Values & Behaviors

  • Which of our stated values do we most consistently model? Which do we struggle with?

  • How do we ensure our values influence decision-making at all levels?

  • What behaviors are rewarded or discouraged in our culture—intentionally or unintentionally?

Structure & Processes

  • Do our current structures and processes support or hinder our cultural goals?

  • How effectively do we delegate authority and empower teams?

  • Where do bottlenecks or misalignments slow down progress or create frustration?

Communication & Feedback

  • How open and honest is communication within our leadership team?

  • What mechanisms do we have to gather and respond to employee feedback?

  • How do we handle conflict or disagreement among leaders?

Wellbeing & Sustainability

  • How are we modeling work-life balance and self-care for our teams?

  • What signs of burnout or disengagement are we noticing, and how are we addressing them?

  • What support systems exist for leaders and employees facing challenges?
